Terms of Service

Last updated: July 8, 2026

This page is maintained by ContractorFind.io and sets out the rules for using our website and matching service. It is an agreement between you and ContractorFind.io. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the site.

1. Agreement to terms

By accessing or using ContractorFind.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the site on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business.

2. Description of service

ContractorFind.io is a matching and referral platform. We collect information from homeowners about their projects and from contractors about their businesses, then introduce homeowners to contractors who appear to fit the project's needs and our quality standards.

We do not perform construction work, provide quotes, or enter into contracts between users. Any agreement for services is strictly between the homeowner and the contractor.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to use our service. Contractor applicants must operate a licensed, insured business in the United States and meet the vetting standards described on the site.

4. Homeowner users

Homeowners submit project information so we can recommend a contractor. You agree to provide accurate, complete information and to respond honestly during any follow-up. We aim to introduce you to a single qualified contractor, but we cannot guarantee availability, pricing, or that a match will result in a hired project.

5. Contractor users

Contractors applying to the network must provide truthful business, license, and insurance information. We reserve the right to reject any application or remove a contractor from the network if they no longer meet our standards or misrepresent their qualifications.

Contractors are independent businesses, not employees, agents, or partners of ContractorFind.io.

6. Matching and referrals

A match or referral from ContractorFind.io is not an endorsement, guarantee of quality, or warranty of any contractor's work. Homeowners should conduct their own due diligence, interview contractors, review contracts, and verify insurance and licensing before work begins.

7. Payments and fees

ContractorFind.io does not charge homeowners to submit a lead or request a match. Contractor fees, if any, are described separately in our contractor agreements. All payment terms for actual construction work are between the homeowner and the contractor.

8. Intellectual property

The content, branding, and materials on ContractorFind.io are owned by us or our licensors. You may view and use the site for its intended purpose, but you may not copy, scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell our content or user data without permission.

9. Disclaimers

The site and matching service are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ContractorFind.io and its owners, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the site or any contractor referral, including damages for lost profits, loss of data, or personal injury.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ContractorFind.io from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the site, your violation of these terms, or your dealings with any contractor or homeowner introduced through the platform.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the site at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users, contractors, or the platform.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

14. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the current version was published. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the revised terms.
